Q. How do I book?
A. You can book on line after checking availability. Or you can fill out an enquiry. Unfortunately because of the nature of our job we don't always get to our phone In time, but do feel free to leave a message or text.
Q. When do I get my delivery/set up?
A. We start delivering at 7am and try to have them all out by 11:30/12pm. If you select a time we will ensure delivery arrives before the time selected. If you require a later time at a venue please do contact us first. If your times clash with another venue we would let you know. I always get in touch when planning our route to let you know your time slot.
Q. What time do you collect?
A. Please do select a time for us to not come before, we then will not come to collect before this time. On busy days we sometimes run quite late which means we might be quite a bit later than selected. If you would like guarenteed late collection please note we do offer this but is charged at £10 per hour on top of booking amounts (from 8pm) . We do not charge for these extra times if hire is just one evening but do contact us by enquiry if your after an evening hire.
Q. My venue has steps/stairs will this be a problem?
A. If your venue has steps please tell us prior to booking, as this will be an issue when hiring heavy equipment. For the safety of our staff we will not be able to set up in your required venue. Soft play we can if there are not too many stairs. If we arrive to find stairs you will still be charged for your delivery.
Q. My hires for a hall/venue how do I book?
A. If you book online we will check it does not clash (wrote times in customer notes) if we have one that clashes then we will let you know. Booking venues by enquiry or phone would be best so you know what times we can do. If your flexible we can work around other venue times.
Q. Can I have a hire during the week?
A. Yes we work 7 days a week.
Q. Can I have an evening hire?
A. Yes, we only do the adult/disco castles until really late all included in price (no extra charges) if it's a kids castle it would be until late evening. Please contact us via enquiry or phone to book. Ideal for Friday afternoon/evening parties.
Q. How do they power up?
A. We supply extension leads and a blower but we do need power supply either by a generator (which can be hired from us) or a house hold plug. We use shower proof extension leads fitted with a trip switch which we will then plug into a power source at your venue or home. Please do pre warn us if there are any issues with power supply as if there is no power source for us to use, or the generator was not booked then we will not be able to power our inflatables. If special arrangements need to be made eg, you venue will require us to use 16amp splitters etc this will need to be discussed before the hire for us to make arrangements to be prepared for these situations.
Q. Can we use face paints?
A. We prefer them not to be used on our castles, unless using a face painter we recommend who we know uses excellent quality paints and they don't stain our castles. If you have a face painter please ensure you remove any paint off the castle straight away to avoid any staining using a baby wipe. If our castle ends up stained you may be charged for this. Or alternatively get in touch with who we recommend.
Q. Can my pet use the castle?
A. No, unfortunately they could damage the units and this would also not be hygienic.
Q. Can I hire a castle for hard standing ie. concrete
A. Unfortunately we don't offer this service as h&s requires a lot of weight, extra mats, or bolting to the ground. If we were to hire with out suffice not weight the castle would not be deemed safe. Safety is our top priority.
Q. Do you have a minimum spend amount?
A. Yes we have a minimum spend of £50. If you order something less that's £50 then your price will be of the minimum amount.
Q. What if it rains?
A. You can cancel with out charge due to rain. If you cancel on arrival you will be charged for our time. Light showers we will still deliver certain inflatables, and we will give you advice on safety. We reserve the right to cancel if we deem the weather due to heavy rain or strong winds to be unsafe. If it rains on hire unfortunately full hire amount will still be due. As we have still set up and weather is unpredictable on the UK. Rain also causes us more work cleaning and drying the castle. Our shower covers are just that...shower covers and will not stop the inflatable getting wet especially in heavy down pours. If winds are higher than 24mph we will not complete the hire on grounds of safety.
Q. I paid in full, what happens if I need to cancel?
A. We will refund money if the hire is canceled by 7am on the day of hire due to rain/strong winds. If we need to cancel your booking for unforeseen events or bad weather we shall return your payment in full. If you accept your hire even with rain forecast no refunds will be given.
Q. What happens if we don't/hardly use the castle?
A. We will not refund once hire has been accepted, this is due to our costs of running our business. Our job is to supply, set up and fully maintain equipment. The work for us is the same whether you use the equipment or not. Our staff still needs to be paid once jobs are completed.
Q. What happens if I feel I should get a refund?
A. Please note our drivers after delivering and taking payments return back to the office and money is placed in a safe. This is so they are not left carrying money with them. If you wish to ask for a refund this request has to be emailed to the company for the situation to be investigated. If it's agreed you should get one it will be sent via BACS payment. You will receive an email once a decision is made.
Q. I have a slope in my garden is that ok?,
A. If there is a slope we will not be able to leave you with a castle, unless it's very slight. We need level ground, we also need to be able to anchor into the ground.
Q. Can we use the castle to jump into our pool.
A. This is not possible as would not be safe. The front step of the inflatable is just to aid getting onto the inflatable and off again. This area is not for bouncing on. Or for jumping into pools or the like.
Q. I'm unsure if my garden will be suitable.
A. Please get in touch, we can either arrange to do a garden check before booking or we may be able to decide by looking at a picture.
Q. I've hired a castle for up to age 12 can us parents have a go?
A. No, the Castle has height restrictions, and they are there for safety reasons, plus an adult using a child's castle, may cause damage. If you damage our equipment through improper use you will be liable to pay the costs of repairs, travel and loss of hire. If you wish adults to be able to use a castle, please look at our castles suitable for both children and adults.
Q. Are you insured?
A. Yes, we hold public liability up to £5million, this covers us, and our negligence. It does not cover yourself if something happened due to your negligence. (Eg supervision)
Q. Are your castles tested?
A. Yes, our castles under go a yearly test checking they are up to the latest standards. We use RPII and PIPA
Q. Do you supply crash mats?
A. Yes we do, we supply 6ft x 4ft mats for castles and a large mat for soft play which was made especially for us with added art work to make it look fun.
Q. Do we need to pay a deposit?
A. No booking fee or deposit is required for all day hires.
Q. Do you supply music in your disco dome and boogie bounce house?
A. No, you will need to supply your own via Bluetooth from an iPhone or similar. We supply the sound system, lights, castle and mats.
Q. How much electric will it use? I'm on key metre.
A. This will vary on your supplier and unit cost. But on average approx 29p to 43p max per hour. We have them on our selves a lot to clean, and find it uses a lot less than other kitchen appliances like washing machines and dish washers. So if having an all day hire of 8hrs you should not use more than around an extra £2.50 to £4 on top of your normal amount (depending on unit rates). If hiring one of our disco ones it will be a little more due to the lights and music.
Q. Why are your prices more than some others?
A. Our prices are set up by firstly working out our costs. All the costs taken into account are, the price unit was to buy (all brought new), insurance on equipment, fuel, van insurance/tax, wear and tear, tax, national insurance, admin costs, website cost, advertising costs, cleaning materials, electric, extra staff, accountancy, delivery drivers, money to invest in new equipment, hall hire at times for cleaning/drying, castle tests per unit, office costs, storage, training, stationary, uniform, etc.
We invest a lot buying only the best castles and using vans that are not very old for reliability, as well as having an easy to use website which includes a booking system, giving you the freedom to book 24hrs a day.
